It started with one advisor going door to door, speaking to families about government-funded energy upgrades — like free insulation and boiler replacements — that could make their homes warmer and their bills lower.

But the response was always the same: skepticism.
People found it hard to believe that something so valuable could be offered free of charge, especially when explained by a stranger at their doorstep. Many households simply didn’t know that legitimate government grants existed — or how to apply for them safely.

This experience highlighted a serious problem:

That’s when UK Saves Energy was created — to turn door-to-door confusion into online clarity.
